Harold Einstein doesn’t mess around. The veteran writer, who has created award-winning advertising for the likes of Fed Ex, Apple, HP and Little Caesars, nabbed a Gold Lion in Cannes just one year into his directing career.

Boards and SHOOT magazines spotted his talent early, naming him to their “New Directors to Watch” lists. Saatchi & Saatchi’s New Directors Showcase followed suit in Cannes. Three days after the showcase, Harold won Gold for Crest’s “You can say anything with a smile” campaign, a breakthrough effort for the brand.

Harold continues to shoot high-profile commercials, with recent jobs for Sony, Motorola and Fed Ex under his belt. His short film, Eulogy For Jack, has been playing in many film festivals.

Harold resides in Brooklyn.
